Building Stronger Proposals
The Research and Resources section provides a variety of information and tools designed to ease the process of
proposal development. This section includes data, research and other information that can be inserted directly
into grant proposals – or edited to suit your needs.
You can begin your search in several ways:
- Find general demographic information by clicking on Information and Data at left.
- Click on a category at left to see all articles in that category. You will see summary information for each article. Click on the article title to see details, and to download any related documents. (Note: most documents in this section are provided in PDF format.)
- Search for key words in the Search All box in the upper right hand corner of this page (below the City Connect Detroit logo). You will see summary information for any article that includes your key word(s) in its name or description – regardless of category.
Other Resources
Every time you narrow your selection to a category, other resources in the City Connect Detroit database will be
listed on the right side of the screen, under Browse Other Topics. These include grant opportunities, articles on
funding trends, and websites and other links relevant to your search. Use these resources to identify new funding
and to plan for the future.
