City Connect Detroit strives to give its members valuable information, resources and services designed to help nonprofits of all sizes, government units, community leaders and others through:
- Quick and easy access to federal and other national funding sources; and
- Assistance developing and maintaining collaborative efforts among nonprofits and between nonprofits and other sectors.
Our online resources are complimented by a host of "hands on" services, including:
- Collaboration development and support: convening, relationship building, development of mission and goals, and other collaboration management activities
- Fund development: development and deployment of funding strategies, prospecting, proposal development, and relationship building for collaboratives.
- Training and support: onsite and online resources, connections to support services, workshops and other supportive services
City Connect Detroit membership is available on a sliding scale, based on the annual budget of your organization, governmental department or school. There are also Basic and Premium membership options, which allow you to further enhance your membership.

Members can pick from two categories of membership: Basic and Premium.

Basic membership provides access to the City Connect Detroit website, including:
- Thousands of funding opportunities — each categorized and reviewed for accuracy
- Emailed Funding Alerts delivered to your email address, and customized by category (i.e.: youth, health)
- Downloadable application guidelines and related documents (when available)
- The latest information in funding trends from national and federal sources.
- Data, research findings, proposal fundamentals and other resources designed to strengthen proposals
City Connect Detroit’s database of funding opportunities contains thousands of federal funding opportunities gleaned from the Federal Register, legislators, and every major federal department. Just like our federal listings, foundation funding details are confirmed for accuracy before posting on our site. The site is updated and reviewed constantly, with new funding opportunities added daily.

Premium membership provides enhanced information access and additional services:
- All benefits of Basic membership, including access to thousands of funding opportunities, funding trends, and related resources.
- Access to a toll-free Help Desk providing assistance in maximizing your use of City Connect Detroit’s website
- Five hours of free consultation services with City Connect Detroit’s experts on fund development and/or collaboration.
- Additional consultation services are also available to help strategize and implement your fund development or collaboration project.
Help Desk services are available from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday through our toll-free Premium Member line (number provided after registration), or via email. Consultation services are available face-to-face at City Connect Detroit’s offices in Detroit, via email, and by telephone.

NOTE: City Connect Detroit membership entitles one user to access the City Connect Detroit website at a time. Emailed Funding Alerts (for Premium Members) are sent to the email address provided during registration.

Premium: Multiple allows larger organizations to purchase multiple accounts at a discounted rate, so more than one user can access the City Connect Detroit website and can receive Funding Alerts. Contact City Connect Detroit for rates.

We may update this privacy policy by placing a notice on our Website. City Connect Detroit uses information from its members to maintain contact with members and to process membership applications. Such information is also used to respond to member requests, to make upgrades to our Website (based on member feedback), and to invite members to future City Connect Detroit events.
Cancellation Policy
Anyone wishing to cancel their membership to the City Connect Detroit website must contact City Connect Detroit via e-mail, telephone, or fax. Individuals can cancel their membership at anytime. Refunds are not given.
